Vacaville officers earn praise for DUI enforcement

By From page A9 | February 12, 2014

VACAVILLE — Three Vacaville police officers were honored this week for efforts to reduce the number of impaired drivers on the road.

The three – Officers Chuck Bailey, Danny Martinez and Chad Hudson – were recognized for their total number of driving-under-the-influence arrests and their contributions to DUI enforcement at the annual California Office of Traffic Safety and Mothers Against Drunk Driving Law Enforcement recognition luncheon in Petaluma.

This is the second year in a row that Bailey topped all North Bay law enforcement with 122 DUI arrests, according to a press release issued by the Police Department. Bailey has also led the Vacaville Police Department in DUI arrests for the past nine years.

Martinez was honored for 31 arrests and Hudson received special recognition from the Solano County DUI task force “Avoid the 10″ for his commitment and support of the program.

Just park near bars, and wait for people to come out, get in their cars and drive! No DUI check points needed!!!
