Vacaville Library celebrates 100 years

The week aheadVACAVILLE — Area residents have a chance to celebrate the Vacaville library’s 100th birthday with a Family Science Night.

In celebration of Solano County Library’s 100th year of promoting learning, families are invited to come out for Extreme Magic Science of Don O’Brien. Afterward, participants can make a little scientific magic themselves.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Vacaville Public Library-Cultural Center at 1020 Ulatis Drive. For more information, call 866-57ASKUS or go to www.solano.library.com.
