Presentation set on gardening during drought

VACAVILLE — Marian Chmieleski, with Solano County’s Master Gardeners, will give a presentation on gardening in a severe drought at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Vacaville Public Library-Cultural Center, 1020 Ulatis Drive.

She will talk about strategies and techniques for using less water in gardens, including plant selection and placement, how to work with soil and contours, and water conserving irrigation practices.
