Pena Adobe to host open house

VACAVILLE — A monthly open house will be hosted March 1 at Pena Adobe Park in Lagoon Valley.

Docents from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be on hand to answer questions about the 1842 historic adobe and the adjacent Mowers-Goheen Museum. Special guest Little Bear will talk about Native American tools and artifacts.

The event is sponsored by the Pena Adobe Historical Society and Rush Ranch Educational Council. The park is located at Pena Adobe Road off of Interstate 80.

    Meant to include (I leaned on the button and hit post) I sent this to friends outside of our area but they have no idea where this is located. I did tell them to follow the signs to Pena Adobe Road as the article stated. I would like to see address and gps included with all articles. *sorry for hitting the post button so soon.
