By From page A3 | October 28, 2013

VACAVILLE — Pace Solano, which offers educational, social and work opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities, will award a 2014 Ford Fiesta on Friday to someone who plays in its bingo sessions.

The vehicle will go to someone who plays fundraising bingo this week for Pace at Vaca Valley Bingo, 190 Bella Vista Lane, Vacaville. Pace sessions are at 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays; and noon Friday. Everyone who plays will be entered in the vehicle drawing.

Bingo games are Pace Solano’s only fundraising to supplement state funding. More than 50 other nonprofit groups based in the county staff the Pace Solano bingo sessions and earn more than $30,000 a month for their organizations, according to a press release.
