NorthBay Wine, Food Jubilee on calendar April 19

By
From page A4 | January 31, 2013 |

VACAVILLE — The Solano Wine & Food Jubilee is coming back to the Nut Tree complex April 19 for the 26th year to once again raise money for NorthBay Hospice and Bereavement’s programs.

To date, the gala has raised more than $2.8 million to help NorthBay to provide spiritual, emotional and physical care and support for terminally ill patients and their families, regardless of their ability to pay.

This year’s jubilee will offer food and drink from more than 120 of the area’s best restaurants, wineries and breweries. There will also be a silent auction of exotic items and raffle tickets will be available for purchase.

Sponsorships are available with a minimum buy-in that includes early entrance to the jubilee, an invitation to a private reception at the event, hotel accommodations and limo service, and an invitation to a four-star vintner’s dinner called Open That Bottle Night on Feb. 23.

The evening is black tie-optional and it begins at 6:30 p.m. Live music is being provided by the Time Bandits at the evening’s end, with coffee and dessert served.

Tickets are available by calling 646-3133 or by visiting www.wineandfoodjubilee.org.
