VACAVILLE — A high-end lobster boil returns for its 10th year this weekend to benefit a foundation that helps people in need get timely mammograms.
Under the Valley Moon, a Napa-style lobster boil, includes hors d’oeuvres, a live auction and a jewelry raffle that features merchandise donated by Thornton & Sons jewelers of Vacaville. The Used Blues Band will perform.
Proceeds benefit Solano Midnight Sun Breast Cancer Foundation, which helps men and women across the county get mammograms and other tests they otherwise wouldn’t be able to get on their own, according to a press release announcing the event. Money raised at the event remains in Solano County.
The event is from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday at Ulatis Gardens, 1001 Ulatis Drive in Vacaville.
