Museum guild schedules children’s party

VACAVILLE — Tickets go on sale July 9 for the Vacaville Museum Guild’s Annual Children’s Party.

The event, geared toward ages 3 to 9, is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 7 in museum courtyard, 213 Buck Ave.

This year’s theme is Country Fair at the Museum.

The party will feature crafts and games, a 4-H petting zoo and science booth, activities from Recology, Vacaville, Solano police and fire department personnel and vehicles, Mother Goose, Mr. Pickle, Miss Jelly Belly and last year’s addition, Ah…Sweet Alpacas.

Those who attend should bring their own bag for carrying the day’s finished crafts and other treasures. A hot dog lunch and popcorn will be served.

All attendees need a ticket. Strollers are not permitted. Tickets can be purchased from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at the museum. For information, call 447-4513.
