By From page A6 | July 23, 2014

VACAVILLE — Thousands of books and other materials are available at ridiculously low prices during the Friends of the Library spring book sale that begins Thursday with a members-only day.

Become a member at the door or go Friday through Monday when the sale is open to everyone. Monday is $5 a Bag Day. Get all the materials you can fit into a grocery bag for just $5.

The Friends of the Vacaville Library is a support organization of the Vacaville Public Libraries. Money that’s raised through the sale helps support library programming for children, teens and adults.

The sale takes place at the Vacaville Public Library-Cultural Center during normal library hours. The library is open Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The library is located at 1020 Ulatis Drive.
