VACAVILLE — A Thursday morning landscape fire also scorched an adjacent recreational vehicle parked on St. Andrews Drive, according to the Vacaville Fire Department.

The department initially got an 8:30 a.m. call from neighbors saying there was a structure fire, but responding firefighters found fire burning roadside landscaping on the northwest corner of St. Andrews Drive and Scottsdale Drive. The flames caught a neighboring fence on fire.

Police closed down St. Andrews Drive for a block around the fire while firefighters quickly put out the flames. No cause had yet been determined.
