VACAVILLE — Former Solano County Supervisor Mike Reagan is hosting a “meet and greet” Wednesday with state Assemblyman and congressional candidate Dan Louge.

The 5:30 p.m event will take place at Mission on the Hill in Vacaville at 1300 E. Monte Vista Ave.

“As a former county supervisor, I understand how important it is to have men like Dan in Congress to help create jobs, protect Travis Air Force Base, and grow the economy,” Reagan said in an announcement for the event. “I know that Dan would be effective at representing our community’s needs.”

Logue, R-Loma Rica, seeks the 3rd Congressional District seat held by Rep. John Garamendi, D-Walnut Grove. The 3rd District includes Fairfield, Vacaville and Suisun City, as well as Travis Air Force Base.

Ouch! That endorsement is like a political ''kiss of death'' or something. Logue should have given the voted-out-of-office Supe the cold shoulder.

Rich is right. Reagan was voted out for a reason. He could care less about the public!!!! Logue should drop Reagan like a hot rotten potato!

Logue lives in Chico! What's he doing running here in Solano county? We don't have any local Republicans who want to run for office? Why did he drop out of his last campaign?

The 3rd Congressional district is made up of all or part of eight counties. Not just Solano.
