Fairfield pageant organizers seek contestants

FAIRFIELD — Solano County Pageants are looking for the next Miss Teen Fairfield, Miss Fairfield and Mrs. Fairfield.

Rehearsals begin Monday at the Danc-Sing Stars Studio at 1125 Missouri St. The pageant is Nov. 16 at the Fairfield Center for Creative Arts, 1035 Texas St.

Contestants must live in Northern California.

The teen division is for ages 13-16, the miss category is for ages 17-25 and the Mrs. division is open to married women, 20 and older.

There is no talent or swimsuit competition. The focus is on developing speaking skills, interview technique and community involvement. Pageant contestants will receive weekly training in modeling, poise, interview technique and production number routines.

Winners will receive a crown and banner and the opportunity to participate in many local community activities, such as festivals and parades.
