DR seeks Vacaville human interest stories

VACAVILLE — Do you know someone who has a good story? Do you have a good story? Just as important, do you want your story told?

The Daily Republic is looking for Vacaville residents who have a story they would like to share with other readers. Stories can range from the heroic or the funny to the tragic, but the underlying theme is the story you want to tell us must be a feature-type story. It must have a human-touch element.

Examples are children with disabilities who work hard in school or who have worked to overcome hardships; an oddball, interesting hobby; a little-known club or group with a community service bent; and overcoming tragedy in one way or another. Did your dog or cat get lost and make its way 2,000 miles to return home?

Email your ideas to [email protected] If you have questions about whether your story would qualify, call Features Editor Susan Winlow at 427-6955.
