Author to sign books at Vacaville Museum

VACAVILLE — Fern Henry, a local historian and author of the biography of Luzena Stanley Wilson, “My Checkered Life,” will talk and sign copies of her book from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Vacaville Museum, 213 Buck Ave.

The event coincides with the current museum exhibit, “In Her Shoes; Women Who Walked West 1841-1865.” Wilson, a Vacaville pioneer, is one of the women prominently featured.

Henry’s book is available in the museum gift shop. For more information, call 447-4513.
