Work on Highway 12 may cause lane closures

SUISUN CITY — Work on Pacific Gas & Electric Co. gas lines in Suisun City may force lane closures to Highway 12 later in the week.

The westbound lane of Highway 12 was closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday between Village Drive and Marina Boulevard. The work may force similar lane closures Tuesday and Friday. The project includes upgrades to shut-off valves along a gas line.

PG&E will post signs along the route advising of possible traffic delays. Flaggers will be in place to control traffic.
