By From page A3 | April 24, 2014

SUISUN CITY — The women of Kroc Worship will host their first Taster Tea at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The event will provide an opportunity to sample every recipe in the new  “What’s Krocing” cookbook. Purchase of a cookbook provides free entry to the tea.

This is a fundraising event in support of The Salvation Army mission work in developing countries. Missions projects of The Salvation Army include developing cottage industry programs that help people sustain themselves in the long term, education in countless Salvation Army schools, health education and a wide array of other programs, according to a press release.

The Kroc Center is located at 586 E. Wigeon Way. For more information, call Vickie Harvey at 332-6240.
