SUISUN CITY — The Suisun City Council will discuss and seek direction about an amendment to the Main Street West Disposition and Development Agreement when it meets 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Eight years ago, Main Street West Partners was selected as the master developer for the Main Street West Project, which initially consisted of 13 properties in the downtown waterfront area, totaling a little more than 8 acres. In 2006, another 7.44 acres was added to the project.
When the city’s redevelopment agency was dissolved, Main Street West assets were transferred to the city. Technically, the properties are still held by the city. City staff recommends the Main Street West assets be transferred to the successor agency prior to making any amendments.
Council members will also be asked to adopt a resolution designating the Solano Transportation Authority’s Countywide Bicycle Advisory Committee and Countywide Pedestrian Advisory Committee to act as the same for the city.
A closed session will follow the regular meeting in the council chambers at 701 Civic Center Blvd. The complete agenda can be found at www.suisun.com.
