Suisun council to discuss waterfront grant

SUISUN CITY — The City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday to discuss a grant for the waterfront district.

There is one item on the agenda. It pertains to a grant opportunity to update or expand the Downtown Waterfront Specific Plan.

The council meets at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 701 Civic Center Drive.

    Wasteful earmarked riders on appropriations bills are good for bloated government and bad for the economy. The goldplated waterfront where the leadership and their pals live and work looks great---and those adjacent neighborhoods look disgusting.
