Rush Ranch to have bats presentation

SUISUN CITY — A free presentation at Rush Ranch in Suisun Marsh will focus on bats.

Corky Quirk of NorCal Bats will talk about California native bats at 1:30 p.m. June 7 in the Rush Ranch Nature Center. She will use live bats to help illustrate why bats are important to the environment.

The Rush Ranch Educational Council and Solano Land Trust are sponsoring the event. For more information, go to www.norcalbats.org or call 422-4491 or 689-2639.

Rush Ranch is located on Grizzly Island Road, 2 miles south of Highway 12.
