By From page A3 | May 21, 2014

SUISUN CITY — A panel of Rosie the Riveters will speak at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Suisun City Veteran’s Hall, 427 Main St.

The women will speak about their experiences in World War II. Two of the panel members, Marian Wynn and Kay Morrison, were invited to the White House for a Rosie the Riveter event.

Rose the Riveter is an expression used when referring to women who worked in American factories during the war.

The public is invited. For questions about the event, call the veterans hall at 429-3110.
