No violations during Suisun City alcohol sting

By From page A3 | July 02, 2014

SUISUN CITY — The Suisun City Police Department found 100 percent compliance during an Alcohol Sting Operation at seven businesses on Friday.

All businesses refused to sell alcohol to the minor decoy. Businesses contacted were sent into the Port of Call, two Chevron stations, 7-Eleven, Bonfare Market, Arco AM/PM and Susiun Wine and Spirits.

The police department conducts alcohol and tobacco sting operations several times each year, according to a police department press release. The targeted businesses are selected randomly or as a result of violation complaints.

The operations are conducted to ensure businesses are abiding by licensing requirements and state law, the press release said.

To report suspected illegal sales of tobacco or alcohol to minors, or for more information, call Officer Lindsey Sanford at 421-7373.

No violators, just pay checks for those officers that get to google on their phone while sitting in their car waiting for nothing to happen!

Out of curiosity, I'd like to know what alcohol the cops are sending the decoys to go get? I know(from personal experience when I was younger)that if you're underage and you go into a store and try to buy a 40 ounce of Olde English, the clerk is most likely going to card you, go in and grab a six pack of sierra Nevada or corona and you might just get lucky. Hope the cops weren't dumb enough to send the decoys in trying to buy 4Loko or something lol.
