SUISUN CITY — Anyone interested in learning about Suisun City’s historic buildings can now get an updated downtown Suisun City self-guided historic walking tour guide from the Solano History Exploration Center.

The illustrated 28-page publication offers a short history of Suisun City along with a guide to 90 of the town’s oldest residential and commercial buildings. The guide includes a history of each building’s past residents or businesses.

A first edition of the walking tour book was published in November 2009 by the Suisun City Historic Waterfront Business Improvement District.

This new edition is available for free at the Solano History Exploration Center at 718 Main St. The center is open from noon to 4 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
