SUISUN CITY — A winning lottery ticket purchased three months ago in Suisun City remains unclaimed.
The winner has until the close of business March 27 to claim $173,830 in Mega Millions winnings or forfeit the money to the state.
Mega Millions is a multiple-state game that’s played in 41 other states and in the District of Columbia and in the Virgin Islands.
The winning ticket matched the numbers 6, 8, 14, 43 and 56, but missed the Mega number of 28 in the Sept. 28, 2012, drawing, according to the California Lottery. The ticket was purchased at Super Serv Chevron at 4490 Central Way in Suisun City.
Winning tickets are valid for 180 days. After that, unclaimed prize money is transferred to California schools.
