SUISUN CITY – Suisun City is seeking community support for upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas season events for the area’s seniors.

The Suisun City Senior Center will serve a free Thanksgiving Day dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day and hold Karen’s Annual Merry Christmas Gathering on Dec. 21. Chevy’s restaurant and the Senior Center are conducting a fundraiser for the holiday events.

The fundraiser will take place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Chevy’s at 1730 Travis Blvd. in Fairfield. The restaurant will donate 15 percent of its food sales income during this period to the Suisun City Senior Center holiday program, according to a senior center press release.
