SUISUN CITY — A fire Sunday night left a two-story house in the Lawler Ranch subdivision a total loss but a mother, daughter and family dog escaped without injury, Suisun City Fire Chief Mike O’Brien said.

The roof of the house on the 1200 block of Mayfair Circle collapsed in the fire reported at 11 p.m. Firefighters remained on scene until 5 a.m. Monday, O’Brien said. The cause of the fire was not known.

Firefighters with the Fairfield Fire Department and the Cordelia and Suisun fire protection districts assisted Suisun City firefighters as they worked to contain the blaze.
