Council to consider city manager contract extension

By April 02, 2014

SUISUN CITY — The City Council is expected offer City Manager Suzanne Bragdon another four years on her contract at Tuesday’s council meeting.

Council members will be asked to adopt a resolution to extend her employment to March 31, 2018. They will also be asked to adopt an amendment for a bonus payment of $3,100 for Bragdon. It was approved by the City Council on Jan. 22, 2008. The money will come from the emergency reserve fund.

Bragdon’s salary will not be adjusted, nor will she be awarded a new bonus, given the economic climate, according to a staff report.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers, 701 Civic Center Blvd.

A closed session begins at 6 p.m. at the same location. It involves a conference with legal counsel over two existing litigation cases and one anticipated case. The complete agenda can be found at www.suisun.com.
