City invites residents to help beautify Heritage Park

SUISUN CITY — The Suisun City Parks and Recreation Commission invites the community to Get Out and Enjoy the Park Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The event is at Heritage Park, 611 Village Drive.

Volunteers are needed to help with planting flowers, sweeping the parking lot, pulling weeds, painting restrooms and similar work. The city’s Recreation Department will provide all supplies, except for garden tools and gloves. A barbecue hot dog lunch will be provided.

    This is exactly what is needed---community pride and personal responsibility. Clean up after your pet at the park. Spay and neuter. Take care of your children---don't just let them run wild.
