2 vehicle accident, fuel leak closes Highway 12

SUISUN CITY — A collision between a big rig and a pickup truck closed westbound Highway 12 at Scally Road for about an hour, according to California Highway Patrol officials.

The pickup truck hit the westbound big rig on Highway 12 about 3:05 p.m., causing the big rig to leak fuel. No one was injured in the collision.

CHP closed westbound Highway 12 while Suisun Fire Protection District dealt with the fuel spill. The lane was reopened about 4 p.m.
