Yippie, 24 Hour Fitness team for running event

FAIRFIELD — A “just for fun” triathlon is planned for March by two local businesses.

Yippie Foundation and 24 Hour Fitness are teaming up for the “Yippie Tri-For-Fun” event on March 2 at 24 Hour Fitness, 1519 Gateway Blvd.

Participants will take on a 200-yard swim, a 5k run/walk and a 15-mile spin class.
