Workshops to help parents with child support

The week aheadFAIRFIELD — Solano County will conduct several workshops to help parents and other family members better understand the child support process.

One workshop is called Compromise of Arrears. It looks at how to reduce past state-owed child support debt, legally known as the compromise of arrears program. It will take place Tuesday and eight more times during coming months.

The free workshops are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Solano County Department of Child Services, 435 Executive Court North in Fairfield. To sign up, go to www.solanocounty.com/childsupport and click on Outreach & Workshops or call 784-3640.
