FAIRFIELD — The Solano Community Foundation will host a workshop Tuesday for members of its nonprofit partnership.
Communicating the Needs of Your Nonprofit Organization concentrates on helping organization leaders, board members and volunteers understand and practice articulating what they need and how to ask for it, according to a press release. Topics include assessing needs, communicating and strategizing.
The workshop is scheduled from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at 470 Chadbourne Road in Fairfield.
Foundation officials ask that participants bring any Requests for Proposals and drafts used to “make the ask,” as well as laptops or tablet computers.
Attendance is limited to 20 current members of the Solano Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Partnership Program who have paid their fees for 2014. To register, call Julie Anderson at 399-3846 or register online at solanocf.org.
