Women’s History Month lunch coming up in Suisun

SUISUN CITY — Tickets are still available for the Women’s History Month Luncheon that will highlight outstanding local women and raise money for local libraries.

The event is Friday at the Joseph A. Nelson Community Center, 611 Village Dr. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. Please go to www.solanolibraryfoundation.org to buy tickets online.

The guest speaker is Lois Kazakoff, deputy editorial page editor of the San Francisco Chronicle. The woman of the year is Patsy Van Ouwerkerk, president and chief executive officer of Travis Credit Union.
