Winters rescue organization to celebrate anniversary

WINTERS — 3R Rescue, an organization that rescues, rehabilitates and finds homes for dogs who need a second chance,  will celebrate its one-year anniversary this Friday.

The public is invited to meet the members of the organization from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at 22 Main St. in Winters during the Winters Weekend Art event.

Along with meeting the members of 3R Rescue, the city will have art on display  starting at 6 p.m. Friday and running through 4 p.m. Sunday. Locations hosting art include Berryessa Gap, Rootstock, Turkovich Wines, Spin-A-Yarn and Brass Tacks, Putah Creek Café, and the Winters Visitor’s Center. Additional locations with featured art are Steady Eddy’s and the Clay Grounds.
