FAIRFIELD — Walgreens will be in Solano County in April to administer free health tests.
The first of these events will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 24 at the Walgreens located at 1955 Texas St. in Fairfield. A second stop on the tour will happen from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 25 at the Walgreens at 1050 Redwood St. in Vallejo.
Named the Walgreens Way to Well Health Tour, the company teams with AARP to provide tests that measure indicators such as cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index and visceral fat, according to a release. It’s the fifth year of the tour that has more offered than 3 million tests.
The tests are available to adults 18 years old and older. No health insurance is required.
