FAIRFIELD — Sample ballots for the November election should begin arriving in the mail of registered voters this week, according to Solano County.
In addition, voters who have already registered to vote by mail should get both their sample ballot and official vote-by-mail ballot next week, the press release said. This is the first year the county has sent the sample ballot and official ballot in a single mailing, it said.
The Nov. 5 elections are for the City of Vallejo and for the Travis School District, which includes voters in parts of Fairfield and Vacaville.
“The sample ballot is a critical source of information for voters on the upcoming election,” Assistant Registrar of Voters John Gardner said in the press release. “Besides containing candidate statements and important election details, the sample ballot book shows the voter their assigned polling place, name, address and a map.”
If voters in these districts have not received their sample ballot by Oct. 15, they should contact the Registrar of Voters office at email@example.com or 784-6675.

Vote-by-mail voters will receive a list of locations where a vote-by-mail ballot can be dropped off on Election Day.
