United Methodist Women get ready for bunco

The week aheadFAIRFIELD — A bunco fundraising event hosted by the United Methodist Women will take place Saturday to benefit local nonprofit groups.

The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church, 1875 Fairfield Ave. It will include bunco, prizes and a dinner. Proceeds will go to the Girl Scouts’ Got Choices program at juvenile hall, the Heather House homeless shelter and LIFT3 domestic violence shelter. Ages 12 and older are welcome.
