FAIRFIELD — Three Solano County firms made the state Board of Equalization’s list of top 500 sales and use tax delinquencies for the first quarter of the year.
The amount of delinquent taxes totals $581 million. California law requires the Board of Equalization to post this information every quarter. Taxpayers get a 30-day notice to pay before the posting, an agency press release said.
According to agency information released Friday, Vacaville Ford Mercury, 148 Peabody Road, in Vacaville owes $1.8 million with the first lien in March 2009, Cigarettes Cheaper, 605 Industrial Way, in Benicia owes $808,240 with the first lien in September 2009 and VJR Ventures Inc., 101 Lincoln Road, in Vallejo owes $574,733 with the first lien in July 2007.
