State plans Highway 37 night closures

By From page A6 | April 30, 2014

FAIRFIELD — A main highway link between Solano County and Sonoma and Marin counties will be closed five consecutive nights from May 11 through May 15.

The state Department of Transportation will be doing maintenance and pavement work on Highway 37 between Highway 29 in Vallejo and Highway 121 in Sonoma County. The highway will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., with ramp closures beginning at 8 p.m., a Caltrans press release said.

During the overnight highway closures, westbound motorists can go north on Highway 29, then south on Highway 121 and re-enter Highway 37 at the Highway 121/Highway 37 interchange, the press release said. Eastbound motorists would reverse that route.
