Soroptimists host Woman Making a Difference luncheon

The week aheadFAIRFIELD — Members of Soroptimist International of Central Solano County will have their annual Woman Making a Difference luncheon at noon Tuesday at the Hilton Garden, 2200 Gateway Blvd., Fairfield.

The Soroptimist club will host a luncheon to honor three women who have bettered the lives of women and girls in this community. This year’s Violet Richardson award winner is Astred Castro of Fairfield. The Women’s Opportunity Award is going to Mischelle Loeza of Suisun City. This year’s Ruby Award recipient is Dawn LaBar of Vacaville.
