FAIRFIELD — The California Highway Patrol will conduct a sobriety checkpoint this weekend in Benicia.
The precise location of the checkpoint was not disclosed.
All vehicles will be stopped to see if drivers are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, to the extent that traffic volume allows. Drivers who do not have a valid driver’s license will be cited and may have their vehicles towed.
The checkpoint will begin at 8:30 p.m. Friday and continue until 1 a.m. Saturday.
