By From page A5 | February 07, 2014

FAIRFIELD — Phat Quang Buddhist Temple will offer a six-month Buddhist teachings lecture course starting Saturday at 312 Gregory St.

There will be classes twice a month in English and Vietnamese.

The free course will teach important Buddhist concepts about universal laws that participants will discuss through an analytical approach, free from creeds, dogmas and religious beliefs, according to a press release. The working of the mind and its nature will also be investigated, as well as applying the theory in the mundane daily activities and in meditation sessions.
