FAIRFIELD — The Senior Coalition of Solano County is seeking exceptional seniors who have made a difference for its fourth annual Living Legacy Awards.
The awards will be presented from 2 to 5 p.m. May 15 at the Fairfield Community Center, 1000 Kentucky St. in Fairfield.
Awards to those 60 and older will be given in various categories, including:
“Our goal is to find those special people who make a difference in our communities and/or exemplify vitality and productivity in aging,” wrote Rochelle Sherlock of the Senior Coalition in an email.
Last year, 29 seniors from Solano County were honored.
Nominations are due April 26. To submit nominees or for more information, contact Sherlock at 864-3984 or by email at email@example.com.
Solano County, the Area Agency on Aging, Solano County cities and other community groups are also partnering with the Senior Coalition to put on the event.
