Rush Ranch offers family event

SUISUN MARSH — Virgil Sellers and his team will demonstrate blacksmith skills and Little Bear will display Native American tools that he crafted at the Feb. 15 Get the Rush event.

Get the Rush is a family event offered at Rush Ranch open space every third Saturday of the month. It runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is free and no reservations are required.

The event is sponsored by the Rush Ranch Educational Council and Solano Land Trust. Rush Ranch is an open space preserve in Suisun Marsh owned by the Solano Land Trust. It is located at 3521 Grizzly Island Road, about 2 miles south of Highway 12 and Suisun City.
