SUISUN CITY — Rush Ranch is looking for volunteers to join its docent program.

The open space area is located in Suisun Marsh on Grizzly Island Road about 2 miles south of Highway 12. It is owned by the Solano Land Trust.

The Rush Ranch Educational Council needs volunteers for its Patwin program that engages children in elementary school in discussions and activities focusing on the Patwin Indians. This program happens on most Tuesdays of the school year.

Those who are interested can spend a couple of hours observing the Patwin program in action. Meet at 9 a.m. in the courtyard at Rush Ranch on Tuesdays. The first class for the spring season is Feb. 11, a Rush Ranch press release said.

Please call 864-0931 or 864-5952 for more information.
