By From page A3 | February 24, 2014

FAIRFIELD — A guided hike will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 8 at the Rockville Trails Preserve.

The Solano Land Trust owns this 1,500-acre property in the hills above Suisun and Green valleys. John McVicar will lead what a press released described as a moderate hike. He will tell stories about the local human history, looking at such things as Patwin Indian charmstones and pioneer rock walls.

Space is limited and reservations are required. Go to http://conta.cc/1emMT3y or call 745-1913 for more information.
