FAIRFIELD — A free, guided hike of the Rockville Trails Preserve will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 8.

The 1,500-acre preserve owned by the Solano Land Trust in the hills above Green and Suisun valleys is closed to the public, except for docent-led hikes. Advanced registration is required. To register, go to http://conta.cc/1d79BI2 or contact Lorenzo at [email protected] or 330-7263.

Participants will meet their guide at the red “ice house” building on Suisun Valley Court near the intersection of Rockville and Suisun Valley roads. They will carpool or caravan from there to the trailhead.
