By From page A3 | February 17, 2014

FAIRFIELD — Solano Land Trust will offer a guided hike in the Rockville Trails Preserve on Monday.

The hike will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the 1,500-acre open space area in the hills above Suisun Valley and Green Valley. The Land Trust described the hike in a press release as “moderately paced” through grasslands and areas with oaks with some hill climbs. There will be two breaks, one for lunch.

Space is limited and registration required. To register, go to http://conta.cc/1nxC7vw or call 469-6341.

Hikers will meet at the big red “Ice House” building on Suisun Valley Court near the intersection of Rockville and Suisun Valley roads. They will go by car pool or caravan to the trailhead. Rain cancels this event.
