The hike will explore how the rocks got there, what is underground at the preserve, the rocks’ relationship to the nearby Green Valley and San Andreas faults, and more. Hikers will also look for the effects of landslides and erosion, according to a press release from the Solano Land Trust.
Rockville Trails Preserve is along Rockville Road, across from Rockville Hills Regional Park. It is operated by the Solano Land Trust. There is no drinking water, no bathrooms or parking lots. Dogs are not permitted.
