Solano County

Pennsylvania Avenue segment to see closure

By From page A1 | April 09, 2014

FAIRFIELD — Pennsylvania Avenue is to be closed between Cordelia Road and Highway 12 from April 21 to May 21 so Pacific Gas & Electric Co. can install a pipeline.

This half-mile segment of Pennsylvania Avenue is in the rural county outside of Fairfield city limits. A county press release said the closure will be in place day and night. This is the same segment that previously closed for several months in 2012 when Fairfield installed a water line.

Drivers who want to travel between Cordelia Road and Highway 12 will have such options as driving through downtown Suisun City or taking Beck Avenue.
