FAIRFIELD — Solano County 4-H members are hoping for another successful 2014 Paper Clover Campaign that begins April 23 and ends May 4.
This marks the fourth years the national 4-H Council has partnered with Tractor Supply Company. Shoppers at the Dixon Tractor Supply Company, 2000 N. First St., can purchase a paper clover with all the funds raised supporting 4-H .
“Tractor Supply has been a great partner with the 4-H Youth Development Program,” said Sharon Payne, Solano County 4-H Leaders Council president, in a press release. “Their support in Solano County helps to subsidize program fees for families that are in need. We are very grateful for their support.”
The campaign has provided more than $2 million to 4-H clubs across the country, according to the press release.
“Our Paper Clover efforts are one of the key ways our stores can give back to the community,” said John Wendler, senior vice president of marketing for Tractor Supply Company, in a press release.
